We Respond Quickly
Whenever disaster strikes, The STRT Team is on the scene! Whatever the incident, our highly-trained members are dispatched promptly and arrive on short order. We work in tandem with LVMPD to help secure the scene and quickly create safe, alternate traffic options for the public to avoid the scene and further trouble.
We Partner With The Community
STRT is a division of LVMPD and reflects the core values therein. We work closely with LVMPD while on scene but also work directly with the public in order to establish safe pedestrian and vehicular travel during times of emergency. Our team members are volunteers of the community itself and freely give of their time in order to help our citizens.
We Operate Safely
Safety is of utmost importance to us and it's literally why STRT exists! We train extensively in order to create a safe environment around the incident scene at all times. As the scene needs change with time, we are constantly updating our plan of action in order to adapt traffic flow as best we can. Utilizing highly visible cones, flares, vests and vehicles with emergency lighting, we do our very best to keep you safe!
We Restore Traffic Flow Promptly
Once the emergency is over, STRT works diligently to get you back on the road and restore normal operations of traffic flow as quickly as possible. We remove cones, scene tape, and other traffic-related visuals in an order that aids in restoring normal traffic flow in the safest manner possible. Once the scene is clear, our emergency vehicles leave the scene with the ultimate goal of complete restoration as if the incident never happened.
