What To Expect.
The Specialty Traffic Response Team - (STRT) is a component of the Metro Volunteer Program or (MVP). As such it is mandatory that all STRT volunteers apply first with the Metro Volunteer Program before officially joining the Specialty Traffic Response Team. Furthermore, as a member of this specialized team, we are expected to conduct ourselves in a professional manner at all times. We are there to only assist officers as directed and not interfere with investigations or crime scenes. Scene safety is of the utmost importance at all times.
